Take note of General Disqualification reasons

1)
If the participant's latest rank and certificate do not match, the participant will be disqualified.

2)
Submission of recordings that are not a genuine, i.e. from previous recording, not participant performing the kata, person performing the kata does not matched with the profile on the telegram or picture report taking part in the competition in the telegram group is not match, age group not match, sex not match, recording was a group training or team kata performance or edited recording of Kata performance by participant, etc. (So, in the telegram profile picture should be your latest own face picture instead a cat or family picture or side way facing picture - only face front facing picture or if under age participant using parents/guardian' telegram should report yourself to the group with your proper picture like the passport format with the competition tier & the kata(s) you are taking part).

3)
Did not perform a Goju-ryu version Kata or IKO Goju-ryu version Kata. Omitting or adding movements — or otherwise substantially changing the performance from its original form.

4)
Color/Kyu Belt Holder divisions must perform a kata from their registration list only. Black Belt Holder or Dan Holder divisions must perform a kata from their registration list only.

5)
Not announcing the kata name, announcing the wrong kata name — or performing another kata.

6)
Failing to bow at the beginning and completion of the Kata performance.

7)
Not starting the Kata facing the Judges is the general rules of disqualification. For this recording of Kata, we accept 45 degrees at the left or right or direct front view of facing the judge (Pick direction only).

8)
A distinct pause or stop in the performance.

9)
Having to take a corrective step to recover from a total loss of balance or have a fall.

10)
Did not wear a white Karate Gi/uniform, or the belt fell off during the performance.

11)
Exceeding the total time limit of 5 minutes duration for Kata.

12)
Failure to follow the instructions of the Chief Judge or other misconduct (SHIKKAKU).

13)
Competitors are expected to respect the ceremony of salutations before and after the performance. Any excessive celebration, such as falling on one's knees, or political or religious expressions during or immediately after the performance, is prohibited.
